Funded Services and Insurance

In British Columbia, psychological services are not currently covered by Medical Services Plan (MSP). You may be eligible for one of the following funding services to fund or partially fund treatment. The standard fees recommended for psychological services by the B.C. Psychological Association (BCPA) are $235 per hour. Dr. Hope accepts payment by credit card or debit e-transfer.

1. Extended Health Benefits: You may be eligible for partial or full coverage of costs for treatment through your or a family member's health benefits. Check with your insurance company (e.g., Pacific Blue Cross, Manulife) to find out your annual amount of cost coverage for visits to a registered psychologist.

2. First Nations Health Authority: Dr. Hope is a registered provider with the First Nations Health Authority. The FNHA works with providers to provide culturally safe treatment services. 3. Veterans Affairs Canada: Dr. Hope is a registered provider with VAC through Medavie Blue Cross.
